I finally got these two pieces of Ceedling scanned. They took a while to dry but I’m pretty happy with them.

This is an in progress piece that I’m working on at the moment. It’s part of the ‘People Who Inspire Me To Do Things/Be Better’ series (for lack of a better way to say it). This is of Celia, or Ceedling as most people on tumblr know her. She’s a super cool person and I really admire and relate to a lot of the things she talks about in her videos and on her blog. She and I don’t actually know each other, and I’ve only been following her blog for a few months now but I just think she’s very inspiring and I hope to one day be as articulate and knowledgeable about the topics she speaks out about.
I hope it’s okay that I used her as reference for this piece, and I don’t know if she’ll even see it, but if she does I hope she likes it!

I did another portrait of Celia, aka Ceedling, for inspiration. 10” circle, oil on wood primed with acrylic.
I tried adding more to the first portrait but wasn’t happy with it. So, I took off what I had added, and then tweeked the rest of it to fine tune it. I’d say both of these are finished now.
